Rest and Digest Tea
Rest and Digest Tea was one of the first blends I created when I started Sweet Flag Herbs in 2015; it’s still one of my favorites. This tea is packed with flavorful, aromatic herbs that relax the nervous system and support healthy digestion. (While catnip is best known for its effects on felines, it’s also a traditional nervous system calmer and digestive aid for humans). A touch of marshmallow leaf helps soothe inflamed tissue, and mineral-rich oatstraw adds a nutritional boost.
Organic ingredients: holy basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum), chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), peppermint (Mentha x piperita), oatstraw (Avena sativa), meadowsweet leaf + flower (Filipendula ulmaria), catnip (Nepeta cataria), lavender flower (Lavandula angustifolia), and marshmallow leaf (Althaea officinalis).
1.3 oz dried herb.
Makes 20-40 cups of tea. Tasty hot or iced.
