Sarah’s first love is introducing folks to medicinal & edible plants growing wild, and those easily cultivated in the WNY garden. In addition to her herbal and wild plant training, Sarah worked for three seasons at Lockwood’s Garden Center in Hamburg, specializing in herbs, perennials, and native plants.

Sarah teaches classes throughout WNY about the identification, cultivation, and use of wild and cultivated medicinals and edibles. She loves working with clients to select garden plants that are beautiful, useful, and beneficial to the local ecosystem.

Sarah will meet with you at your WNY property to offer one or more of the following:

• Identify edible and medicinal plants already growing, whether wild or cultivated. Chances are, there are many!

• Discuss new plants to add to the property, considering your goals for the space and your health

• A detailed follow-up email summarizing the plants we discussed, and offering recipes and suggestions for utilizing these plants

Consultations are generally $200 - $400 depending on the desired service, size of the property, and your location. Consultations typically last two hours.
