Saturday, Sept 12th, 9:30am—11:00am
Chestnut Ridge Park, Main Casino(meeting room is on the opposite side of the building from the bathrooms)
Orchard Park, NY
As summer winds down, let’s celebrate abundance and community with a free swap! I’ll bring herbal tea to share.
Examples of items to swap: Books, overabundant dried herbs and fresh garden herbs, containers* for herbal goods, seeds, gardening tools and garb, garden pots, kitchen tools, foraging and hiking paraphernalia, botanical or garden art, herbal products you’re not using, pile of zucchini—anything plant-related that someone might use.
Also bring: shopping bag(s) or box(es) to put your finds in; travel cup/mug for herbal tea. (I’ll have extra cups if you forget.)
If you don’t have anything to swap, come anyway and take things off our hands!
Please take home items you brought if no one takes them.
*Containers: Chestnut Ridge has a no-glass policy. If you want to swap glass bottles/jars, bring them in small boxes or clear ziplock bags. Folks can take a whole box/bag rather than shuffling glass around. Please tape the bottom of boxes to avoid accidents.
If you bring containers and they haven’t been cleaned, please indicate this on the box/bag so we know what we’re getting into!
