Sarah will lead this leisurely plant walk at Hobuck Flats in Derby. We will learn to identify a range of local plants that are edible and/or medicinal. We will discuss the properties they contain, and ways each plant has traditionally been used. We will also discuss safety and sustainability considerations when harvesting wild plants. Bring a notebook/camera if desired.
