In any WNY town, there are dozens of edible and medicinal plants that we pass by every day. Community Herbalist Sarah Sorci will guide us on a Herbal Walk in the Village of East Aurora. Sarah will demonstrate how to identify and sustainably harvest numerous species. Sarah will share thoughts about which types of locations are safe for harvesting, and which may be too contaminated. We will begin and wrap up at Creative Wellness, with most of our time spent out in the neighborhood. Walk will be leisurely; bring comfy walking shoes and a notebook/camera if desired.
