Whether you have a spacious backyard or a stoop for a few containers, you can enjoy beautiful, easy-to-grow plants with useful medicinal properties. In this class, Community Herbalist Sarah Sorci of Sweet Flag Herbs will introduce you the medicinal properties and safe uses of a few common ornamentals (bee balm, echinacea, catnip, etc.), and introduce a few plants you may not have heard of (holy basil, ashwagandha). Sarah will include tips for cultivation and preparation after harvest.
