The Basics of Herbal Tincture Making

Greystone Nature Preserve
8531 Bear Lake Rd
Fredonia, NY 14063

$10 includes herbs and handouts to take home

Alcohol-based tinctures are a convenient way to extract and preserve medicinal herbs. Using basic ratios and principles, we can easily make quality herbal remedies at home.

In this workshop, Community herbalist Sarah Sorci of Sweet Flag Herbs will share several methods for tincture making. Participants will sample tinctures made with plants abundant in WNY. Each participant will select an organic dried herb to take home for crafting their own tincture.

To sign up, contact Sarah Sorci at 716-997-2007 or Sarah@sweetflagherbs.com.
