Sarah Sorci, community herbalist of Sweet Flag Herbs and Lockwood's employee, will lead this introduction to edible and medicinal plants. Sarah will discuss lesser known medicinal properties of common culinary herbs in Lockwood's herb section. Participants will also visit the perennials section to learn about several native medicinal plants, and common garden perennials that are edible. Recipes and printed information will be distributed.
