Chautauqua County Vegetarian Society. YWCA, Westfield. Herbalist Sarah Sorci will give the presentation this month.  Alcohol extracts, or tinctures, are simple and effctive ways to preserve the chemical constituents of herbs.  Sarah will share basic guidelines for preparing your own tinctures from wild and garden plants.  Participants will sample a variety of tinctures, and they will be able to take home recipes to make simple concoctions. 6-8pm. 58 S Portage St, Westfield, NY.
