The Greystone Nature Festival on August 27th (noon-midnight) will feature a range of speakers, workshops, and activities focusing on bats, birds and butterflies. Keynote speaker Merlin Tuttle, an internationally recognized bat conservationist and photographer, will be a special treat. I will lead an edible/medicinal plant walk and host a vendor table. Check out the event's facebook page here and the schedule here. Dinner will be offered, including a vegetarian option.
