Whether you have a spacious backyard or a stoop for a few containers, you can enjoy beautiful, easy-to-grow plants with useful medicinal properties. In this class, Community Herbalist Sarah Sorci of Sweet Flag Herbs will introduce you the medicinal properties and safe uses of a few common garden plants (bee balm, echinacea, yarrow, lemon balm), and introduce a few plants you may not have heard of. Sarah will include tips for cultivation and preparation after harvest. 

Each participant will have the opportunity to blend their own tea blend, or select an herb seed packet to take home.
