Elderberry is a locally abundant herb, traditionally used for its immune boosting properties. Research has confirmed its antiviral nature and effectiveness in preventing and treating cold and flu. In this workshop, Community Herbalist Sarah Sorci will discuss identification, harvest, properties, and use of elderberries for syrup. Prepare and take home your own bottle, made with local raw honey and rosehips. Elderberry is safe for both children and adults.
